Yes. Tell us when you book that you'd prefer a female instructor and we'll match you with one in your area where available. If we can't currently match you, we'll say so honestly before you pay anything, and you can speak with your instructor before your first lesson.

How much are lessons with a female driving instructor?

The same as all our lessons — £35 per hour pay-as-you-go (2-hour minimum) with block packages from £320 for 10 hours. There is no premium for requesting a female instructor.

Are female driving instructors DVSA-approved?

Every Cruise'N'Pass instructor, male or female, is a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) on the DVSA register, teaching in a dual-controlled car. The standard is identical whoever you learn with.

Which areas of Manchester do you cover?

All 30+ areas in our Greater Manchester coverage — from Manchester city centre and Salford to Didsbury, Chorlton, Sale, Stockport, Bolton and Bury — with free pick-up from home, work or university, 7 days a week from 7am to 8pm.

Learning to drive is personal. Common reasons learners give us: feeling more comfortable asking "silly" questions (there are none), preferring a calmer teaching style, cultural or religious preferences around who they spend lessons with, or simply having learned better with women teachers in the past.
